 BACKGROUND     (STRUT ADJUSTER KITS)

1. VIRTUALLY ALL OTHER BRANDS use a "Slot system" as method of adjustment,
    this concept has been around for last 40 years.

2. BUT IT REQUIRES 4 SMALL BOLTS (or 8 if both Camber and Caster
    adjustment) these are time consuming to adjust.

3. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY these bolts also greatly restrict maximum range of
    adjustment as they need to be accessible . Therefore outer bolts must be within
    the diameter of the strut tower hole. 

4. THIS RESTRICTION OF TRAVEL - can be up to a considerable 7/8"(22mm) less
    negative Camber adjustment. The extra travel of the patented K-MAC kits can
    allow all the difference to give you that sort after race winning edge.

1. ALL POSITIONAL - Window / Aperture (a whole new patented concept).

2. 30 SECONDS to change settings - time taken to loosen the 3 top of strut mount
    nuts This allows for both Camber and separate Caster adjustment.

3. FULL MAXIMUM adjustment can be obtained as there is no hold down bolts that
    need to be accessible I.E travel is only restricted by the strut shaft as outer side of
    bearing can pass under perimeter of strut tower hole -can be up to a considerable
    7/8" (22mm) extra travel (only restriction if there happens  to be one of the three
    stud mount bolts in this precise direction - K-MAC design then has the advantage
    of allowing extra offset front or rear of this stud).

4. THE K-MAC patented designs also incorporate a lever / ratchet system whereby
    the adjustment can be carried out accurately (under load) at track side. No need
    to jack vehicle.

5. KITS INCORPORATE graduations to record these Street and Track settings
    (check Toe settings at the same time and record also if found necessary).

6. SPEED OF INSTALLATION - Bolt-in / No modifications or loose parts (to simplify
   installation a thin 1mm thick plate is included to retain all  components).

STRENGTH OF K-MAC KITS
  1. STAGE 1 (STREET) - Made from steel. Twice thickness of most O.E. mounts.

  2. STAGE 2 (STREET/RACE) and STAGE 3 (FULL RACE)
    Hi-strength Alloy 10mm thick (3 times most factory O.E. mounts).
    Fully proven over 10 years of extreme Race/Rally usage.

  3. THE 3 MOUNTING stud nuts (at 25ft /lbs torque only) withstand 1,200 lbs of
    side load (strut tower crumpling before slippage of mounts).

  4. STAGE 2 features heavy duty (PTFE lined) pillow ball centers suspended in
    urethane. This cushions the pillow ball without noticeable detriment to road
    feel / steering response  - yet greatly extends wear life for daily commuter use.

  5. STAGE 3 similar features to Stage 2 but no urethane / flex.

  6. STAGE 2 and 3 are virtually life time usage as centers are replaceable.

  7. ALL K-MAC strut kits are internally supported on suspension droop.
 CHECK LIST     (ECCENTRIC BUSHINGS)

         Majority of makes including Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Opel, VW, etc.
"CONTROL ARM MOUNT POINTS" for either Camber, Caster or Toe adjustment (other then Upper Strut Mount adjustment kits).

THIS K-MAC PATENTED CONCEPT is a 'D' shape or splined bolt that interlocks with a steel center bush which is inside a urethane bush. Rotating of the head of the bolt allows precise adjustment (can be adjusted accurately - under load). Once adjusted to required setting the nut is then simply tightened in this position.

UNLIKE OTHER KITS THE MERELY OFFSET BUSHINGS - must be pressed in and at a set offset position. Not allowing precise adjustment of suspension settings.

AS A ADDED BONUS - K-MAC bushes are designed and are available to eliminate premature failure - Rattles/Squeaks at all critical mount points.
